Between the acts is
where the detail lives.
An "entr'acte" is the interval between acts, the pause before the next scene begins. It's also, often, when the program actually gets read. We wanted a name that pointed at that moment. Made by theatre makers, for theatre makers.
Why we started this
Amateur and pro-am theatre companies put months of work into a production, but the thing every audience member takes home, beyond the incredible work on stage, is the program. We want that program to uplift the show it belongs to.
Entr'acte Creative was founded by Joshua, a producer with 25 years of collecting theatre programs. There's a program for every show he's seen, tucked away as a record of a night that mattered to someone. Proper design, without the agency price tag, built specifically around how community and pro-am companies actually work.
Who it's for
Community theatre groups, amateur musical societies, youth and school productions, and pro-am companies staging their first few shows. Our work leans on a streamlined, template-based system, that's exactly what keeps rates low without cutting corners on the finished program.
If that sounds like your show, we'd love to hear about your next one.
A couple of things we hold to
No jargon
Clear communication throughout. You shouldn't need a design background to get a program you're proud of.
Uplifting community theatre
Giving community and amateur productions a touch of that Broadway feel, so the program feels as considered as the show itself.
