Programs are designed as A5 booklets, in page counts that are multiples of four so they print correctly. What goes on those pages, cast bios, sponsor thank-yous, acknowledgments, whatever you send through, is entirely up to you. Overture, Intermission and Encore below are common starting points, not fixed bundles.

Every size gets the same design process and the same up to 3 rounds of revisions. Sponsor pages, musical numbers, extended bios, and any other content can appear at any size if there's room, see Content Ideas below for what can go on the page. Overture, Intermission and Encore are recommended starting points; final scope is confirmed based on your content, imagery, and layout requirements during the brief.

Final files exported and imposed for your chosen printer, plus a digital version for online or QR-code viewing.

A few common questions
What if my program needs more pages than I expected?
We'll flag it early and let you know the extra cost at $60 per additional 4 pages, before doing any extra work. No surprise costs on your invoice.
Do you organise printing?
We hand over print-ready files formatted for your printer of choice. Let us know if you'd like a recommendation for affordable local printing.
Can I get a digital-only program?
Yes, every program includes a digital version suitable for QR-code or online viewing, alongside the print-ready file.
How far ahead should I book?
Ideally at least 3 months before opening night or your print deadline, that gives the most breathing room for content, revisions, and printing. If you're closer than that, don't let it put you off; get in touch anyway and we'll let you know what's realistic.
Is the design fully custom?
We work within a flexible, professional design system, so you can choose colours, styling and layout options during your brief. It's not a fully bespoke build from scratch, that's exactly what keeps pricing accessible. If your production needs something fully bespoke, a dedicated design agency will be a better fit, but for community and amateur theatre, we've got you covered.
Can I use Playbill branding or fonts?
No. Playbill is a real, independently trademarked company with its own protected branding and typefaces, and we're not affiliated with them. Using their branding on your program could be legally risky and misleading to your audience. We'll design something original that looks just as professional, without borrowing anyone else's identity.
Will Entr'acte Creative be credited in my program?
Yes, a small design credit for Entr'acte Creative is included within every program as part of our standard agreement.
How does payment work?
A 50% deposit is required to start work, with the remaining balance due within 14 days of receiving your final print-ready files. An invoice will be issued for the deposit, which can be paid by bank transfer or card.
What if I need more than the included revision rounds?
Additional revision rounds beyond what's included can be added for a per-round fee, we'll let you know the cost before starting any extra round.
Do I get the source design files?
You'll receive a print-ready PDF and a digital copy of your finished program. Source design files aren't included as part of the service.
Can you turn a program around faster than usual?
Sometimes, depending on availability. Rush turnarounds outside our standard timeline may carry a rush fee, which we'll always discuss and agree with you before starting.
How quickly do I need to give feedback on drafts?
We ask for consolidated feedback within 3 to 5 business days of each draft. Since delivery timelines depend on that turnaround, slower feedback may push out your final delivery date.
